365 Challenge: Days 143-149

Friend, the Lord prefers common-looking people.
That is the reason he makes so many of them.

Although that quote has nothing to do with the 365 Day Challenge, I decided to post it anyway. :-) I love random quotes, so be on the lookout for them here and there!

Here are days 143-149! Enjoy!

Not a very interesting picture, but does anyone recognize what the object is? (And what it will be used for?)

Peter after a fun-filled afternoon with older brother. I guess he had fun?

Almost missed taking a picture this day!  I was about to crawl into bed when I saw my camera on my desk. The water bottle was handy, so voila!

Peter now knows how to pedal a bike! Yippee!

Only for a season our partings are, nor shall we wait in vain, Until we meet again!

IKEA

Nope, we didn't remodel. We just took a family outing and stopped by IKEA to browse.  While we were there, Peter had a great time checking out every bed - personally.

This cracks me up

Ryan, expect a call at 6:30 ;-)

Peter enjoying a treat...

I think Dad wanted some. :)

Good bye IKEA!

5/21/2011 Photo Shoot **Updated!**

Many people have asked me how I became interested in Photography.  I always reply, "Well, one time I was on a road trip with some friends, and one of my friends had a DSLR camera. She let me pick it up one day and take some pictures. From the moment I touched the camera, I was hooked."

So a huge thank you to my photography buddy!  I'm so glad that I was able to get together with you for yet another fun-filled photo shoot.

Enjoy the pictures!

Posing in front of a house on our way to the location. Yup, that's right, a house.  It had a huge gateway/sign.

I love this one!!!

Oh, and this one...

And this one....

And this one! :) We were getting bokeh shots like the one below, when I turned around and saw the reflection in her lens.

And what would a photo shoot be without outtakes?

Here's some of my favorite pictures that she took of me.

Thank you so much again! I had a GREAT afternoon with you!

I'll end with my absolute favorite shot from the day.
