Even Though It's Two Days Late...

~Happy Independence Day!~

Eating Watermelon helped cool us down from the sweltering heat!

 Peter enjoyed his. :)

We participated in a water balloon toss...

 (Peter did pretty well!)

 ...and Dad lost. :(

Then we spent the evening with friends and family playing games

The evening was finished with an amazing display of Fireworks! (Or "Fuuur wacks" as Peter would say...)

              

I am proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free.

I won't forget the men who died, who gave their lives to me

And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today

Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land!
