Letting Go...

It's hard to say goodbye to a style of life that you have had for the past four years.
It's hard to realize that you no longer have opportunities to perfect your work.
It's hard to say the final line in your performance for the last time.
It's hard to let something go after spending so much time on it.
It's hard to say Good Bye.

But

It's been wonderful learning how to speak clearly and accurately.
It's been wonderful spending time with so many people.
It's been wonderful learning so many different things.
It's been wonderful travelling across the country.
It's been wonderful learning how to lead.
It's been wonderful working so hard.
It's been a wonderful four years.
It's been wonderful.

This almost made me cry. You did wonderfully, Christine. You're one of those mock trialers that will live on famously through all of the future mock trial years. Your team loves you, your coaches love you, I love you!!

Chrissy - you were my first lead attorney, and always will be. I couldn't have asked for a better example to follow in Mock Trial than the one you set, and I cannot thank you enough for that. Like Kasey said, the name Christine Roe has now joined the names of past Mock Trial legends, and all your work and achievements will most definitely not be forgotten! It has been an honor competing right alongside you this year. You are going to go so far, and I cannot wait to see where God's plans take you. I love you and will miss you so much!

Christine, you are an amazing young woman. You've worked so hard and grown so much. You exceeded very high expectations and have become a shining star of this great Mock Trial program.

Congratulations and best of luck in the future.
