Going, Going, Gone!

I'm off to wondrous new lands, to distant places... To boldly go where no man has gone before!!!

Well, something like that. :)  I'm off to summer vacation! Won't have WiFi, so I'll just to post a fraction of the millions of pictures I will take when I get back.

365 Challenge: Days 184-191

I PASSED THE HALF WAY POINT!!!

It doesn't seem like the year is half over, it still feels like March to me...

Maybe it's because the weather decided to cooperate only three weeks ago. :-/

Here are days 184-191!

This may seem like a weird shot, but I love it anyway. :)  It seems that most of the "mistake" photos I take turn out to be my favorite ones!

Here I am. Gazing solemnly off into the great unknown. Thinking about my future. And about that cookie Sister promised me...

It was a lovely day 

Did a LOT of sewing that day! You'll soon find out why.

Even Though It's Two Days Late...

~Happy Independence Day!~

Eating Watermelon helped cool us down from the sweltering heat!

We participated in a water balloon toss...

 (Peter did pretty well!)

 ...and Dad lost. :(

Then we spent the evening with friends and family playing games

The evening was finished with an amazing display of Fireworks! (Or "Fuuur wacks" as Peter would say...)

              

I am proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free.

I won't forget the men who died, who gave their lives to me

And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today

Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land!
