I had a BLAST last night at Disneyland's Grad Nite celebrating my last year in high school. The day and night were filled with rides, food, sugar, and fun times with my Dad and my friend Rebekah.

Got stuck in the new Ariel ride - had fun singing along to the song.... about 20 times. 

My reaction when we discovered the wait time for the "Tower of Terror" exceeded the amount of time left the park was open for.

Throughout the night, we took mini naps on whatever we could find. A bench, my shoulder, the wall.... ;-)

Twas a wonderful evening.

A Stop Along the Way

The beauty of being able to drive myself around is that I can stop and snap pictures when I see something photo worthy. Of course, I don't veer off the freeway to take pictures of the clump of lupines (although I have been severely tempted to...) but I today I did stop at the side of a residential street to capture the golden sunbeams peeking through the trees and grass.

The Shore Road

Mom and I were out and about on Saturday when we got the idea to take the long way home - the highway along the beach! We stopped here and there and I got to snap away to my heart's content.

5/4/2012 Funeral Session

I was asked to capture the proceedings of a funeral this past weekend, and I was extremely grateful for the opportunity be a part of the event. The service was laced with peace as her family was comforted by the knowledge that Ms. Duarte accepted Christ three weeks before her death and is now with her Savior.
